“ Morning flights are awful because, if anything in the airport is open, they're serving powdered-eggs-and-a-bagel or "all potato" breakfast burritos. Hobie's food is decent, airport table service food (I recommend the nachos). The kicker is that they seem to be open to serving their entire menu all day. For me, that meant a French dip at 6AM. IN AN AIRPORT! Sweet. ”

Our server Amanda was all killer no filler, was speedy and didn’t miss a beat. We got the Caesar salad and Hawaiian quesadilla, both of which I can highly recommend. “ I had to give this place 5 stars because, even though it had typical airport atmosphere and the food was good(not exceptional, but still very good), it was the service that was outstanding. We were there at 8pm on Sunday Oct 29th and they were closing up for the night. We were exhausted and hungry(family of 5) and the head waitress that evening insisted on serving us. She treated us like gold. We were so appreciative. This is now a must when flying in to John Wayne Airport. ”
